As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care.” Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your overall health. Administrative Team
Donna
Donna is the Office Manager at Mahoney Family Dentistry. She and her husband Mark have four children and enjoy attending their sporting events. Fun facts: She is a licensed cosmetologist and, if she looks familiar, it’s because she was an extra in the film, Rudy!
Brittany
Brittany is the chameleon of our office. She has seamlessly transitioned into the practice’s Patient Treatment Coordinator after being a Registered Hygienist and Business Assistant. Brittany is a proud wife and mom of three children: Trace, Cameron, and, Zoe!
Zulidy
Zulidy is the face of our office and manages the Front Desk. She was drawn to Mahoney Family Dentistry because of its culture, teamwork, and overall friendly environment. Zulidy and her spouse, Josue, stay busy with their dog, Benji, along with volunteering in the youth group at their church. She speaks Spanish and has an affinity for teeth!
Kristina
Kristina is our Business Assistant joined our team because she felt the energy and values of our dental team, matched what she would look for in a dental office for her own family. She and her husband, Paul, have 3 children, 4 cats, and 1 beloved dog that keep occupied while away from work. Additionally Kristina enjoys to read, and her other hobbies of beading and painting. One interesting fact about her is she also used to teach people how to become dental assistants, and makes her a valuable cross-functional team member to have with us on our team.
Hygiene Team
Tricia
Tricia graduated from IUSB’s Hygiene Program in 1990. She is the leader of our hygiene team and has brightened up our office for over 15 years. She is married and has three children: Kris, Nikki, and Jenna. In her free time, Tricia enjoys working out, playing golf, fishing, and watching the Cubs.
Abby
Abby joins our Hygiene Team and is passionate about educating and helping patients improve their oral and overall health. She was drawn to Mahoney Family Dentistry because of the friendly staff and wonderful work environment. Abby appreciates the comprehensive care provided to patients; more than just teeth and mouth. She and her husband, Kris, are expecting and have a baby on the way! Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outside, especially at the beach, as well as gardening and reading.

Brittney
Brittney is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists and has always been passionate about dentistry and healthy smiles. Her mission is to educate and assist patients in achieving a smile that they can be proud of.
Brittney was drawn to Mahoney Family Dentistry because of the wealth of experience, loyalty, and teamwork exhibited by the staff on a daily basis. She is married with two children and loves to bake and indulge in tiny home videos on YouTube! Brittney is also well-versed in sign language and hopes to become fluent in Spanish in the near future.

Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn graduated from IUSB in 2017 with dual degrees- Dental Hygiene and Anthropology. Recently, she has returned to IUSB to teach within the dental hygiene program while still passionately caring for patients at Mahoney Family Dentistry.
Kaitlyn believes she was meant to be in the dental field from a young age. She is guilty of pulling childhood friends' teeth when loose and trying to brush all her dog's and cat's teeth.
In her free time, she enjoys: kayaking, hiking, cooking/baking, singing (awfully), and learning/studying.
Fun fact (because you'll want to know) she is 4'11" !
Assistant Team
Andrea
Andrea is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant and a graduate of Lake Michigan College. She has 30 years of dental assisting experience and came to work at MFD because she was inspired by Dr. Mahoney’s integrity and skill. Andrea is married with three daughters and spends her free time reading, crocheting, and spending time at Lake Michigan.
Sonya
Sonya has been making a difference for the patients of Mahoney Family Dentistry for over 15 years and is a patient favorite due to her relaxed demeanor. She and her husband Kelvin like to bowl, go to the movies, and work in the community. She is dedicated to making sure every patient leaves her care smiling!
