This year Mahoney Family Dentistry will be holding it's annual Give Kids A Smile on Friday February 3rd. We will be seeing children by appointment and providing them with free dental care including cleanings, fillings, and extractions.

To be eligible for free dental care children must be under the age of 18 and enrolled in the lunch assistance program at their school. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment for Friday February 3rd please call our office.

National Children’s Dental Health Month is just around the corner and Mahoney Family Dentistry is gearing up to give away as much free dentistry to children as they can. The American Dental Association annually sponsors “Give Kids A Smile” and Mahoney Family Dentistry has been participating for years. Drs. Mahoney and Klauer along with 7 hygienists, 4 assistants, and numerous volunteers will be seeing children on Friday February 3rd to donate free dental care. Care will be donated to those children who qualify for the lunch assistance program at school.


Donating free dental care to those in need is nothing new to Mahoney Family Dentistry. On September 10, 2011 they donated more than $96,000 of treatment to over 210 patients. This year Mahoney Family Dentistry hopes to treat 50 children providing free exams, cleanings, xrays, fillings, and extractions to children. The children will be given much more than treatment on Friday February 3rd; it will be an educational event where they will receive information on how to achieve and maintain proper dental health for a lifetime.


Mahoney Family Dentistry is certainly not alone in this effort. Numerous local dentists will be volunteering their time to help ensure that children have the opportunity to receive dental care.
